Ya its rediculous, these guys that lie all the time about what they did, on the range you cant help but laugh at them. I usually play along and ask them to tell me about what they do cause im so interested. And when i catch them in a lie i act so impressed, the tales are the best.

"22 will bounce around in someone's head and turn their brains into scrambled eggs"

my wife has a degree in forensics, and her professor in her firearms class was retired FBI. she informed me that they had actually been taught this in school, and had handled a couple skulls from 22 rifle gunshot wounds, and found that this is somewhat true, the bullet DID bounce several times after entering the skull.

I sat on a Jury for a Cop killer back in the early 90's.

.22 went through the windshield and in his eye. We got all the gory details of what it did, hard to set through. Basically it went through the middle, doing minimal damage, hit the back of the skull, and going so slow by this time it bounced down into the top of the spinal cord and killed him. If it had been a center fire the Cop would still be alive.

Mike;
Not for nothing, u should anonomously call the shop and let someone know what's going on. He's not helping business and is gonna do someone a harm.

"Evil" succeeds when good men do nothing.

Darnedest shot I ever saw was with a 22 Short. A man seated in a recliner was shot in leg, just above knee, killed him dead as a rock. Autopsy revealed that bullet had bounced off femur, entered the femoral artery, followed path of least resistance, traveled all the way to, and entered the heart, killing him instantly..

Ain't the truth ! There were approximately 250 SEALs that served in Viet Nam, I think I have met 5 or 600 of them...

oddly enough some girl i brought home late, well her dad told me he was also a navy seal in vietnam. Its crazy how many hardcore special forces live around us. Being in the USMC for 7 years, i dont think ive actually met and had a conversation with anyone in special forces. Just the civilians i know were special forces or knows them all, funny how that works.

Thanks to the ppl who were able to remain composed after someone stated a preference of caliber and stay on subject..
I once had a man that was attempting to sell me a AR-15 copy tell me that this particular offbrand AR had a free floating barrel and that it was made for "Civilian Sporting snipers"........from the factory :p
