She carried a S&W Mdl 10 Snubbie when she was in uniform.
Today she carries a S&W 642 for CCW, but her favorite shooter is her S&W Mdl 14.
Do we see some sort of a pattern here?
Oh Yeh, I forgot about her .40 Cal cap lock rifle.
Since I am a wife, my preferences are the 32-20 revolver, a 32-20 lever action rifle and the .303 Lee Enfield. BK (Before kids) when I hunted small game my preference was a 410 shotgun, a SAIGA to be specific.
However, I'm just not a fan of recoil so my choices tend to be smaller calibers.
My wife is not much for guns but does like to kill milk jugs with a shotgun once in great wild. Her favorite gun is my Springfield XD 40 sub compact. Why, looks mean
Thought my wife was going to steal my P220 until a couple days later when she fired a friends Glock 17. We went and got her a Glock 17 of her own that day. She has had it for just under 1 year, loves it and carries it daily.
She never liked my Remington 870 but when I got a Stoeger Coach Gun Supreme (the all nickel model) she fired it and turned around to look at me and said, "Aww, it sure was sweet of you to buy me this...what are you going to shoot now?" So on our way home from the range we stopped and got me a new one, the less expensive all blue model.
She has also decided that my father Winchester 61 in 22 mag is going to be hers someday, along with his Ruger 22/45 and Nylon 66.
She also like the Rossi matched pair 410/22lr that she got for Christmas.
My fiancee likes my two Ruger P90 .45 ACPs. Bought the second one along with a CETME(got both for eight hundred at a pawnshop) because I feared she'd be mad at me for buying the rifle.
When we get married she gets one of them. She says its ugly, but like me, both the gun and I are reliable, tough, and can dole out the one shot knock out pain in one shot. She actually said something to that extent, reminding me that I'm marrying up and shouldn't forget that. At least she likes to shoot. And she asks one a week when I'll finish building my YUGOAB2 in semi-auto only or Yugo M64 in semi-auto only. She's found a love for AKs or AKMs, luckily she also likes SAIGAs. She's happy with my S&W 19-4 with .38spcl. But I can't get her off the P90. And since I'm waiting on my official paperwork for NRA certified Basic Pistol Instructor, it's been a pain to remind her she can't CCW in a purse. Oddly enough though she doesn't want a Ruger P345.
I'm posting, even though I don't have a wife or girlfriend Well, being single I guess I could qualify under an "I am my own wife" exception.
I have my late husband's S&W Model 10 snubbie which I like to shoot. I also have a 22/45 and PPK/s that I enjoy, as well as a friend's discarded (but never fired!) H&R Model 732.
I don't have a wife, but I wish I did. This house needs a good cleaning. My husband isn't too good for that, but he did build me a custom 1911 .45 for my birthday a couple years ago.
Due to her having a bad experience with a scope and recoil on a 30-30 when she was younger she won't shoot my rifles, but give that girl a 9mil a 38. or a 12 guage shotgun and she'll shoot all day.
I'm a wife...and I LOVE my 1911 officers .45, my Taurus 445 (44sp. snubbie). I also enjoy shooting my Remington 1100 lt20 and my newest baby...121M1 Benelli Semi Auto riot gun.
My wife started on a S&W 22a and like the 22's. She has pretty much confiscated a P22 and my Sig Mosquito. She loves using them with the Outback II suppressor
My wife really likes informally busting clays with the 870. She loves the Marlin Model 60 with a 4x scope. She also really likes the Ruger MkII Target (who doesn't), with or without the Aimpoint red-dot. She has warmed up to the G26 and is amazingly accurate with it.
Her only gun is her Savage 110 .30-06 she bought to try deer hunting, and she doesn't shoot it for fun with full-power loads. I loaded up some .30-06 gallery loads that she calls "poppers" with 13grains of Red Dot over a 110gr softpoint (google "The Load"), and she really likes these.
She's not so into shooting the AR/AK/SKS. I thought she'd like the lever-action of our new Winchester 94 but she says racking the lever hurts her knuckles.
