Do you guys name your rifles? Maybe just your favorite rifle... Since I started this, I'll say my favorite rifle has a name. Her name is Betty. Yes, like the song. Now you kow what color she is.
 
My favorite rifles first name is Bushmaster, last name is AR-10. :D

My wife has names for all of my guns but they are nice to say in public.
 
My Model 39A is Sweet Lips from the Revolutionary War era History and our good mountain folk.
My 336 30-30 is Calamity.

Eddystone - Remington P-14 .303 British is my bolt choice. FN-49 in 8mm Mauser for an auto and the good old 10/22 Ruger is my favorite fun gun and small game getter!
 
Mine are named AR, Enfield, Mossberg, 1911, Walther, Smith, etc. I'm just not creative enough to come up with other names. If I hadn't given my son my name and my Father-in-Laws Name, he'd probably still be nameless.
 
LMAO!!! JohnMcD348 made me laugh out loud. I guess my Betty is just such a beauty and since she's one in a million to me, I coudn't help myself.:) But I name the pistols too.... For some reason the shotguns get real simple names like Ole Faithful and Master-key.:D

My Ruger 77/22 is Kathy (love of my life)
My Rem 700 is Amber (she was a long shot to begin with)
My Marlin Mod 60 is Dusty (bust dirt clods like she broke hearts)
 
naming guns..... you boys are barking mad! it is not a healthy thing to do! you should all be sent to the funny farm (my 7mm08 remmy is called gods own medicine, my .30-06 is parker hale is called old faithful my 243 and 22 and shotguns haven't earned names yet)

my cousin has a .22 called the angel and a .223 called the brother (angel of death, brother of destruction)

He is Bloody mad too
 
I have a Walther KKJ .22lr sporter, due to the color and figuring in the stock she is called Blondie!!
 
My .30-06 I lovingly call Shoulder Cannon (yes, I know, there's bigger and badder out there). My shotgun is called Cherry (she's pretty and the wood is cherry in color). Otherwise, my others have yet to receive a moniker.
 
Well, my Western Field is called Western Field and my Revelation is called Revelation. My 410 Mossberg is called 410. My EAA Witness is called Tanfoglio.
