45 Blackhawk-Hogleg, or hand cannon

NAA 22 mag-MOB-Minute of Barn

Sp101-my widdle friend

500 BFR-Boomer

460 S&W-Cannon, also referred as the only crew served pistol

Others are generic from the manufacturer, XD-TRP-Colt

Only one buddy's gun we loaded for had a name.
The Rifle was a Remington Mod. 700 Heavy Barrel in .22-250 with a 10X Weaver scope. It was called the "PIPE".

This baby would shoot the primers out of fired shotgun shells at 100 yards when they were laid on their sides, primer facing the shooter. They were bench rested shots.

I have a Smith 357 that I adore, my girlfriend named it "Mistress", because I sleep with it and fondle it all the time, and it spends a lot of time in my pants...........

Savage Model 12 LRPV: Charlotte
Colt 1991A1 Commander: Gladis (after Marv's 1911 in Sin City)

FWIW: My dad had a M77 in 7mm rem mag his buddies named El Tremendo.

I've named my rifles all by caliber, nothing else has stuck except for my commander, which is just called the commander.

So when I bring out the AR its "two-two-three"
The M14s is "the three o eight"
etc

Although I am still bound and determined for a mil spec 1911 from springfield in stainless and WILL name it "gladus"

lol

The SKS might be called either "Katrina", or "Butch" ;).

'She' is a tough babe, yet somehow attractive.
Somewhat feminine, but with tunnel-vision as a simple fighter who will not stop. Like the Terminator.

OK I'll play....My favorite is a sweet classic kinda girl...a little chubby in the midsection but sleek and beautiful. Her name is Mable the M-1 Garand. Nothing like the ping at the end of a clip to make you smile like a school boy seeing hid first nudey magazine huh fellas!

Ok, I'll play, and even tell ya I took my meds this morning!

Favorite Center fire rifle is Emma, Emma Juan.

Favorite rimfire is Ann, Ann Shoots.

Go figure.

Favorite hand gun is named John Moses, not just for the original designer of the basic system, but also the name of my Infantry Battalion Commander when I bought it.

I believe naming inanimate objects is ridiculous and cannot bring myself to do it. The manufacturer usually does that and I respect that since it is their creation and use their title. However if I were to create or produce a product I would be obliged to give it a title. What others decide to call it would not be a concern to me unless it were derogatory, thence I'd feel offended.

My converted Saiga 12 gauge is Weldon. I think I have it outfitted nicely so it is 'well done'. Also I got some J.B. Weld used so it it is 'weld on'. Yeah I know lame but it amuses me.
