I was thinking of the guns I own (and don't own) when I thought about this thread. The thread could go many directions, but for now I will say that I believe every gun owner should have a quality set of gun tools.

(I know pretty lame, but it is harder than I thought to think of what every gun owner should have.)

I could only wish that were true. I'd start breeding them.

I could only wish that were true. I'd start breeding them.

SHHHhhhhh!!!! That was always my excuse for when new gun suddenly appeared. If word gets out, to the wrong people, I'm toast. Guns breed!! That's my story...

Left an HK 91 and a Colt Woodsman alone once, 6 months later I had a Styer Aug.

Bingo...I think we have a winner.

As far as mating guns goes...I left an old, cheap .22 rifle and an H&R single shot twenty ga. in the back of a closet for about ten years. Maybe I should go see if I have a twenty ga./.22 combo in there now. Course they could have just rusted together.

It would start off as a dedicated .22lr sbr upper and then a couple years down the road, grow into a 6.5 grendel 16 inch?
