I was thinking of the guns I own (and don't own) when I thought about this thread. The thread could go many directions, but for now I will say that I believe every gun owner should have a quality set of gun tools.

(I know pretty lame, but it is harder than I thought to think of what every gun owner should have.)

A nice cleaning kit and a safe or someway to protect against theft and/or abuse by children and their friends.

Should have's

Everyone needs two gun safes, one for the boy guns and one for the girl guns. If they are put together they will make new guns. Rob

I could only wish that were true. I'd start breeding them.

SHHHhhhhh!!!! That was always my excuse for when new gun suddenly appeared. If word gets out,:uhoh: to the wrong people, I'm toast.:cuss: Guns breed!!:what: That's my story...

Merry Christmas.

So if you had 2 ARs together would they make an SBR. I hope so. I have wonder what caliber it would be though since one is .223 and the other is 6.8.

Left an HK 91 and a Colt Woodsman alone once, 6 months later I had a Styer Aug.:what:

At least one good 1911
and a CZ or two

Bingo...I think we have a winner.

As far as mating guns goes...I left an old, cheap .22 rifle and an H&R single shot twenty ga. in the back of a closet for about ten years. Maybe I should go see if I have a twenty ga./.22 combo in there now. Course they could have just rusted together.

It would start off as a dedicated .22lr sbr upper and then a couple years down the road, grow into a 6.5 grendel 16 inch?

No seriously, every gun owner should have the time and place to relax and enjoy their hobby.
