How many firearms do you own?

I figure this site is full of enthusiasts, but I am also seeing a good amount of new people to the firearms world. Was just curious what the "average" amount of firearms the top tier owners have (top tier as in passionate enough about guns to join and contribute to a forum).

I know a lot of you will respond with "it's none of your damn business" and that's ok

16-30 was my vote. At the moment, 24 to be exact. Fortunately, my wife doesn't care how much I spend on firearms as long as all the necessary essentials of life are paid for by me! That's the bad part.

A lot.

More than I can take to the range at one time but not enough to make me stop looking at getting something new should it catch my interest.

I'd have to look at the spreadsheet to even make a guess at firearms. Certainly more than the highest number I see there. Even more if you also include muzzle loaders and air guns.
This same poll seems to come around pretty often. It doesn't really matter, as over 2 guns and a half-empty box of ammo will get you 'terrorist status' these days.

I have no idea why the number of guns you have is an issue anywhere. They always bring out the table to show off how many guns they have when they arrest someone. Why is that an issue? Do you have more than two hands?


I just fill the safe and do a cull every now and then. My one safe is my limiting factor. Perhaps I'll buy a larger safe some day or I'll let that one safe keep me in check.
