I carry as much gun as I can conceal - usually not much.
Yeah, subcompact here.
That usually means a Makarov, which has proven (at least
MINE) to be disgustingly reliable and surprisingly accurate.
In fact, the little bugger can shoot better groups than my Glock 17, 40, or my Colt M1911A1.
Don't ask me why, I'm still working on that one.
Anyway, I prefer as much firepower as I can conceal, but I'm a little dude, so my 629 isn't something I can tuck into my waistband and get away with it. :banghead:
In the winter, or under conditions when I can "pack heavy," I carry full sized, Glock or 1911, but that's fairly rare. The little Makarov (or my Kel-Tec P40) can hide out just fine in a jacket pocket or IWB holster.
I see by the survey I'm not alone.
