*I have your entry for non-magnified
~I have your entry for magnified

I have seven submissions for the non-magnified class, and two for the magnified class.

Only six weeks left, get out there and shoot. Don't make me start sending PMs, 'cause I will!

I'm gonna send in another one in a couple weeks. One entry per rifle (per class), right? Muahahaha!!

You beat me to it on this thread, I was asking on the other thread.

Looking forward to seeing if you can beat yourself. :p

Yikes! Oh, man, is it that late already? :what:

Still no rifle. Still not enough money to get it out of hock even if it was ready (no call from the smith yet).

Money flow will begin again next week (in the nick of time ...
getting tired of noodles and beans, rent is due ... ) ...
hopefully can get the rifle going in time ...

Well, I missed a good opportunity this weekend for the shoot. I went to Grandma's, and she even had some index cards.

Trouble is... they were 4" x 6". :(

Probably would not have mattered much anyway. I was shooting some old Golden Bullet that I found, and I don't know if it was the ammo or the slight wind (probably a bit of both) but my shots were favoring to the right. I can't send in a card I have no pride in.

I just shot some index cards I had too. Just realized that they were 4x6 and we're supposed to be shooting 3x5.

I didn't even know index cards came in different sizes.

You learn all kinds of stuff on THR. :)

Activity!

Awesome!

I'm loading up to take my 17HMR out to the range in Conroe.

Going to try it out at 200 yards.

If I see any index cards out there they are in trouble.

Wait a minute... Is that poaching?

I'm ready John McL, let me know when you're ready to send 'em to me. I'm starting to get the collection of 3x5s. Maybe my wife won't object if I have a few of them stuffed and mounted, groups proudly displayed.

Nice BUMP work Frank, I feel I owe you something for your time and energy. Maybe I could stuff and mount your 3x5 and send it back to you, fit for any den room in America. Don't worry about poaching the 3x5s, I believe they are always in season with no limit, kind of like vermin.

Black Majik, I have not received your entry yet. If you sent it, my mail man is holding it hostage somewhere (under the seat of his truck most likely. :uhoh:) If you haven't mailed it off yet let me know and I will quit looking for it.

Has anyone else noticed how many
bumps there are in this thread?

Why, if this was a street in my town,
I'd complain to the city to get it fixed.

Then again, I guess all these bumps could be
roadkill 3x5s, caused by cars hitting them
during an overpopulation caused when
too many 3x5 predators were eliminated,
allowing their populations to explode.

Now, they're running out of food and migrating.
They move at night in packs,
and often have to cross highways.

The problem is, when they turn sideways,
as they are prone to do when hit by headlights,
drivers can't see them.

Splat.

Bump.

Do your share to reduce
the overpopulation of 3x5s.
Keep those cards coming in ...

Cool, I've heard of those genetically altered hybrid 3x5's that can get big as a car but didn't believe they really existed. Now we have photographic evidence that they are indeed thriving in urban environments... I'm willing to bet that once there is an attack on a human they'll take off the bag limits on those things.
