So, while we wait for the results to come in,
let's talk about the next one.
I've been thinking about this a bit.
If the next target was a cloverleaf,
and the assignment was to put one bullet in the middle of each leaf,
then the next game would be less about "smallest" group
and more about "optimal" group.
That is, a single hole would score less than 3 equidistant holes,
each in the center of a leaf.
Too close is not good.
Too far apart is not good.
Center of 3 leaves is best.
Measurement would be more complex,
but we could figure out the algorithm.
And I predict that shooting three different targets
on the same card could be more challenging than shooting one,
and maybe even more realistic (first shot, squirrel moves, then stops;
second shot, squirrel jumps, then pauses; third shot, squirrel stew for dinner).
