Money is not an issue?
(((gasp, hand-to-forehead, fainting dead away. . .))))
Ed Brown Kobra Commander. Buy two.
If you absolutely love and cherish your carry gun, you'll likely lavish care on it, and it'll always be with you in the best leather gear - and you'll be happy every minute you're together!
(blinking, shaking my head, composing myself. . .)
A dear friend very high up in Federal law enforcement told Susan and I that, and it's proven true over the years.
That's what I'd do. And if my novel goes mainstream in a big way, I plan on buying three, and then taking every class for handgun offered at Gunsite!
I got to strip and check out a Colt Gold Cup Commander recently, and that'd be a lovely alternative, better IMHO than the new Kimbers.
The S&W 3" 649 remains the perfect BUG, powerful, and superbly accurate, slipping into a pocket smoothly, and of reasonable weight. Really, take a look at one. Five hundred rounds of full-power .357 ammunition, and it's still as tight as the day I bought it.
Have fun!
