Ok since no one was making a new thread, i decided to. This was taken from posts 37 and 39 on the Jan rimfire match thread.

------------------------------------------------

This one is open to any and EVERY 22 caliber rimfire rifle including 22 mag. This match is meant to be challenging and FUN. Hopefully it will get you out to the range and shooting your rifle.

You may enter with multiple rifles.

Print this target (updated from Jan match thread)

http://www.reloadbench.com/pdf/files/Inside Out Game.pdf

Scoring
Take ONE shot at each dot, for a total of 15 shots. The hole touching or inside largest dot is worth one point. The slightly smaller dot below it is worth 2 points, the dot below it is worth 3 points, the dot below it is worth 4 points and the smallest dot on the bottom is worth 5 points. 45 total points are possible.

And to make this a little more interesting... IF ALL five shots in one of the vertical columns are CLEARLY FULLY inside the black a bonus of 10 extra points per column will be awarded. 30 possible bonus points + 45 = perfect 75 score

Range
25 yards for iron sights and non-magnified optics and red dots

50 yards for any Scope or Magnified sighting device.

Position Any

Additional Categories we can hammer out what is what if there is any doubt.

Haven't seen a new thread yet, so I'll make a comment...

Shot the target yesterday at the range. No pics yet, as I hope to shoot it again. No reason to clutter up the reports with pics of so-so shooting

50 yards, light left-to-right breeze, with scoped Ruger 77/22, using Federal AutoMatch .22LR.

Shot two pages - the first, I had 31 points of hits plus one row of consecutive hits for a total of 41. Second page had 33 points of hits but no bonus.

So, there it is...first time out of the barrel, so to speak: 41.

Side note: Anyone else use this Federal AutoMatch ammo? My guns do NOT like this stuff. Every time I dropped the mag to reload, I had to tap out lead shavings. I'm sure that's throwing my accuracy off...yeah, that's it...

Q

Brought this one over.

i got one done! i got a 25 lol ill post it and edit if i do better, the WRF shot well then really dropped off accuracy on the last part,(second pot of coffee:D?) ill clean up my gun since these are soft plated lead compared to the jacketed 22Mag its ment to shoot, for those unaware what a WRF is its kinda like shooting a 22 short in a lr gun, only its for a 22 mag:evil:

Rifle-- Savage MKII base model
Sights--Bushnell 3-9x32 scope
Ammo--federal 550 bulk pack
Position--Prone
Distance--50yd
Conditions--60 degrees, 2mph crosswind, cloudy.

Added up, my score is 35. :(

I hadn't found this thread and made my own...hope the mods will delete it...sorry.

i forgot to mention i was shooting off a bi pod in prone.....gvnwst, did you have a rest? nice shooting, i drew dots for a better POA, but just realized i could have as easily lined the cross hairs up and done as well! im relived to find out its not me shooting so badly, just shot 1.4"@330 yds(5 shots) using a 9x scope on my .204 so im happy, except now i gotta work with my gun a little and find out how it likes being shot, normally i have lots of time between shots and 15 in a row throws off my normal procedure, umm... yah! thats what happened!

I was shooting off a bipod too. My scope was having parallax problems, so i had to just stick my head on the comb and adjust for it. It took 5 targets to get that one, the other 4 look horrible....

Only 45 if i had gotten all the bullets CLEARLY in the black. One is half way out...

heck that was my first and only target, dang 22mag is expensive to feed lol, the marlin was not sighted in but ill do that as a last resort, which will be soon as possible cause im down to the last few mags andlike to keep some for coyotes an possums where the other guns are too messy(front/back porch in the middle of the night for example)

Well, my scope is suppossed to be set at 50yd, but it is broke. I need a new one.

I tried my AR upper with a red dot scope, but it covered all the targets!

Quoheleth --Do you have pics of the taarget?

I was at 9x and didn't have that problem....

gotime, you forgot to mention if someone needs targets put up for them. If you don't want to, people can send them to me. Just PM for a address.

Is there a deadline on this, I'm having problems with my new CZ stringing shots.

Okay, whenever you can get it up.
I hope i will be able to find a new scope before the month is over, then i can shoot some better scores.

Alright, here's my entry. I didn't figure I'd be out shooting in Feb., but we got a very nice weekend here in IL.

Rifle was a Ruger 10/22 .22LR. I have owned this rifle for 8 years, bought it used, I think it's about 10 years old. I've been setting it up as a LTR for an appleseed this spring, so it has tech sights (which are awesome!), extended mag release, and I modified the bolt release.

This rifle's favorite ammo is Federal American Eagle. It's a keeper!:D I was using their 38 gr. copper plated hollow point.

I shot at 25 yds (iron sights) with a front rest (no rear rest). When I shot the posted target, it was about 40 deg. with little to no wind. It was about 4:15, so I was losing light quickly. I think I could have done better with some more light; those bottom two are HARD to see at 25 yds with no magnification! I pretty much had to guess at the last one.

My count is 41 (EDIT: 31 pts., rules state shot must be 100% in black)pts.; I tried 4 times, and this was as good as I could do with the low light and crappy factory trigger. Here's the target:
