Geneseo1911--Looks to me like 31 points, are you sure you counted right? If you counted the five on the left as a exrtra 10, they have to be fully in the black for that to count.

Hmm how hard will this be with only a 4x scope... hmmm I might have to go with the irons at 25 yards but those dots still might be mighty small... perhaps I'll do both with my CZ 452 lux. Just have to wait for this week to be over for next weekend.

Well... I think I will have a go at this... I've had a go with this one before...

This photo is from an old entry... it is not an entry for this month

32.....pulled the scope off my bb gun and used the marlin model 60, so much cheaper, but now im outta those to an gotta go get another bulk pak of the cheap rem stuff:rolleyes:

the 3-9x32mm powerline scope covers the last dot really well! for the bottom two rows i shot pretty fast since i couldn see the dots i squeezed the trigger as soon as i covered the dot.......its semiauto and cheaper than the 22 mag, any reccomendations to good lr ammo? i may just get one or two boxes of 50 since im just borrowing the rifle

If you can find eley match..? Or remington subsonic match. I found that my savage likes the bulk pack as much as any match ammo i can get around here. So, it is cheaper anyhow, right?:D

lr is only about ten times cheaper than the mag to shoot lol! the bulk rem is 17 bucks in walmart, and i think im gonna get two boxes of winchester super-x@ 1.85/50

18.12 was tax and all for a bulk pack of 550 remington here, but now im good to shoot at least a years worth of these matches( and hopefully get a little better at it!)

Well, I caved to the pressure yesterday... I went and put a new .22LR on layaway at one of my favorite gun shops... Yep, a Browning T-bolt, and she will be coming to the party if not this month, next month for sure.

WARNING - Do not fondle one of these, you will not let it go back to the rack. They are EXTREMELY dangerous. Be careful, once it is in your hands, it will not let go...

LOL

Could you please share your technique for shooting less than 300 rounds of .22LR in a sitting? I took about 600 rounds when I went to shoot this match, and only managed to come back with about 200. Of course I shoot at my parent's house in the country, so it's not a problem to mess around with rapid fire or just plinking at stuff from the junk pile. Like an old CB radio...

school, work, lots of driving in between, i have one day off a week and i mostly shoot target with my .204 and .308 since thats the only day i have time to let the bbl stay cool.

every other day i have about an hour between class/work and so any shooting i do is rushed, maybe friday ill try an shoot a 75 for this match lol

Welp...todays shooting made me hate myself. It was windy as all heck and i just couldnt pull it together.

I got...a whooping..... 26 :(

I come in last in my own thread!! lol

two tries at that bottom left one eh:p? my first try was with my 22mag thats zeroed for 125 yds so that was fun to try and shoot at 50yds, too expensive though, now i got 550 rds to use through the marlin 60 and my next post will be at least a 75:evil:

i got 37 tries lol.

i am now thinking about getting a cheap used bolt action .22 at a pawn shop, i remember seein a few for about 50 dollars and need to get my own anyhow.

only reason i never got a .22 before is its nearly as cheap to shoot my 1858 Remington i converted to 45 colt, but the .22's are fun too!
